Comic #26 “Cut To The Chase”

This weekend can be summed up in four words: Coke. Dick. Motorcycle. Awesome.

…seriously though, that’s the name of a real band, who’s poster we saw in this extremely exciting, and overall tremendous weekend.

Friday had the jawdroppingly fantastic Karmella’s Game CD release show…featuring a performance by KG that if you weren’t a fan before, would’ve made you one in minutes, plus AVEC doing a proper tribute to Karmella’s Game with an astounding cover of “Crazy Girl”…Zombie Posters were in effect, and selling well…they do have some extras, so if you want to pick those up, nab a few when you see them live, once they’re gone, they’re gone!
Saturday was the super-solid CD release for Assassinate Caesar!, where much to our surprise, the t-shirt designed was used as a special limited edition cover for the CDs being given out at that show.  We’re very happy to have worked with them for that, and to have that art used as the cover is a tremendous honor, thanks guys!

In other important news, Dead of Summer, and more importantly, it’s artist, Mr. Nick Borkowicz (Ghostfreehood) is featured in the debut issue of Local Flavor magazine!  The article is on page 60, and goes in depth into the history of his art, and the road that led to this here site!  The magazine is free, and is available throughout Baltimore, so pick it up and read the article.  I’ll try to get scans on the site in the near future.

Tonight, we get to catch a sneak peak at The Omen, so we’ll be letting you know if it sucks. I’m leaning toward it sucking…and hard.

See you on Wednesday!
