A top of the week to you, coming off of a very relaxing weekend, with what should be a rad week to end August.

Not a lot to say today, but props to Nick on today’s page. He truly created an image that will be haunting at least my nightmares for the next week or so.

Next few updates will be a bit sparce, as we finalize details for what we’ll have at the Baltimore Comic Con, as well as the Art Show Opening and Closing parties in October at the Ottobar.

Local people looking for a rad night out this week, heed the following!

Wednesday Night (8/30), 2 bands we are lucky to call friends, Assassinate Caesar and Karmella’s Game are rocking the Sidebar, and then the following night (8/31), get ready for awesome, as AVECduet (an Avec side project, featuring unique, stripped down versions of Avec songs, plus original works) has their CD release show at the Talking Head, performing alongside Forget Cassettes, a band who I’ve been digging hard as of late.  Should be 2 great shows, two nights in a row. If you can make it out for either, I highly recommend you do.

RANDOM: Anyone know any spam blocking software for WordPress? We’re getting hammered on spam comments, and I’d rather not have to turn on moderation for comments…any suggestions, please e-mail info@deadofsummer.org.
