Happy Friday Friends and Foes alike, as we end the week with another, albiet slightly late edition of Dead of Summer.

I personally apologize for the delay, as the intense nature of this week (spent far too often at random venues around Baltimore seeing various awesome shows, leading to a just as intense lack of sleep) finally hit us in the end, but the fact is, we hold true to our promise of publishing every Monday, Wednesday or Friday…by hook, or by crook.

And what awesome shows they were.  From the Advantage on Tuesday, to Karmella’s Game and Assassinate Caesar on Wednesday, to Forget Cassettes and AVECduet last night, it was a great time to be seeing shows in Baltimore.  I’m always amazed at how much our “little” town has to offer in terms of a fantastic musical scene…I hope one day the world will open its eyes to it.

In any case, between this and my workplace cutting our internet access, I have a metric ton of e-mails, messages, and assorted havoc to make my way through, and thankfully, this is a 3-day weekend.  If you’ve e-mailed us in the past week plus and are waiting for a reply, that’s my fault. I’ll be getting to you soon, I promise!

In other news…see that counter? Holy balls, 25,000 hits. I’m scared.

New comic coming at you on Monday, along with the full and complete details of the October Ghostfreehood art shows at the Ottobar.  Make your plans now, kids. The Opening Show, entitled Who Will Survive And What Will Be Left Of Them?, is Friday Night, October 13th, at 7pm.  The Closing Show? Sunday October 29th. On that date, the fun isn’t just upstairs though, as in an awesome bit of chance, MC CHRIS is playing downstairs on that day. While the two events have no official connection, I think we can all agree, it certainly makes for an awesome Sunday.
