Happy Friday everyone, after this…a draining week, personally.

Seasonal changes means a cold for me, so I’ve been sneezing it up, but I continue forth!  Another new comic today, Nick as always, brings the solid art, and I try not to screw it up too much on the dialogue.  Still working on all that, it’s always a growth process here.

Figured I’d take the time on this Friday to rant on a nerd subject which Nick and I have spent most of today geeking about…

They announced the star of Iron Man. Yeah, they’re doing a movie version…see?

Well, last night it was leaked that it was going to star Robert Downey Jr. as the titular Iron Man/Tony Stark.  A very risky bit of casting, for sure.  Now, we at DoS LOVE us some Downey….since seeing the immensely underrated Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang (which if you haven’t seen, you owe to yourself to see RIGHT NOW, we’ll wait…), we’ve wanted to see him really get back in the swing of things.  I guess this would be it.

Right now I’m feeling about the casting like I did with Christian Bale as Batman. An initial WTF, despite liking his work…and then there’s that moment of clarity when you realized he’d be PERFECT.  I’m still a little bummed that my dream casting of Crispin Glover as Joker for the sequel didn’t happen. Ah well.
