Comic #85 “Everything Falls Apart”

Another weekend down, but do not fret! Monday brings you Dead of Summer, and a new comic is yours!  More drama as tension continues to build between our heroes…will they be able to make it in the newly zombie infested Charm City?  Keep your eyes on the site to find out where their journey takes them next.

This weekend was a pretty rad one for us, as we went and saw The Prestige.  Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect going in, given the hazy trailer and the confusion I suffered between it and the Ed Norton magician flick, The Illusionist.  All I knew for sure was given the director (Christopher “F’n” Nolan, he of Memento and Batman Begins fame) and the cast (Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman, Scarlett Johannson, Michael Caine and David Bowie, of all people) that the movie was to be something special…and it really, honest to god delivered.  This is one for the ages, a movie that keeps you enthralled every step of the way, and actually delivers in the end.  Tied for my favorite movie this year with V for Vendetta, I can’t recommend it enough. Go see it now…well, after reading the comic and today’s post, of course.

This COMING weekend is a good one for sure in the Baltimore area…we of course have the art-show party upstairs on Sunday at the Ottobar, before the sure to be awesome Karmella’s Game/MC Chris show, but if you’re looking for a rad show on Friday night, look no further than The Talking Head, where our good buddies Avec will be playing with the awesome Your Black Star.  Seriously worth checking out.

Song Stuck In Your Head time again….me? ‘The Eraser’ by Thom Yorke.  Great little track.

We’ll be back on Hump Day, as the story continues! See you then.

you know i have been reading this comic for a while now and i have something to say. i LOVE the art and i think it is really well done… except for the writing, it well SUCKS. every week i try and hype myself up and every week i am dissapointed. i think maybe the writer should give his role up to someone who can actually write.

just a thought…but i think a lot of people would agree with me
