Comic #98 “Lending A Hand”
Happy Turkey Day everybody! We continue on our 3 day back to back holiday update.
Now, as you know, our fair artist, Mr. Nick “Ghosfreehood” Borkowicz (”Ghostfreeboobies” to his friends) was supposed to appear on the webcast I’m Just Drinking, hosted by noted webcomics guru, Phil Kahn.
Well, there was an issue. We’ll let Phil explain:
It happens.
Sometimes, even as you practice a craft for years and years, you can still make the tiniest mistake that ends up ruining the project altogether. Technical problems with the camera equipment caused the video to be completely garbled, beyond the point of rescue. Which is bumming out all of us on the IJD staff in a major way, as this episode had the most effort put into it of all. All you can do in these cases (after lamenting for hours on end), is take a lesson from it and move on.
I want to apologize to everyone who was involved in this episode for my personal screw-up, and thank them again for the effort they put into it. It would’ve been really great.
So thank yous go to all my dear friends: Onezumi & Harknell, Rosscott Nover, Ghostfreehood, Janny Hofer, Bryan Way, and most of all, to Rob Balder, who plays a larger role in the execution of IJD than you can see as a viewer.

So, as you can see, the representation of Dead of Summer unfortunately, won’t see the light of the web…or something like that. Sorry to those of you looking forward to it. We do again thank Phil for the opportunity, and hopefully we’ll get a shot at it again at a later time (and hopefully this time, I can be a part of it….)
