Whenever Nick and I sit down to work on the comic, we usually pepper our conversation with an unusually high amount of web browsing.  Some good comes of it, some bad (far too much time on MySpace), but generally, it’s fruitful.

Tonight, though?  We found the greatest site ever.

You may have heard of the band Manowar. Best known for their AWFUL….y great album covers, I didn’t think they could become more awesome to my mind’s eye than they were before…

I was proven wrong.

A quick visit to MANOWAR.COM (as spelling it anyway except for all caps is far too pussy of a move to make) grabs you right by the danglies (or if you’re a lady, whatever parts you’d like it to grab, up to you) with a LOOPING video of highlights of their website, as well as concert photos (what up, arbitrary motorcycle?!), and images of your new metal gods, MANOWAR.

Click inside…and you find that MANOWAR has some god damn adept programmers!  You can customize your site skin, as well as background (we recommend ‘An American Trilogy’ for appropriate schlock value), and just when you’ve thought you’ve seen enough…you really need to check out the mini site for their new DVD THE ABSOLUTE POWER.

Many nights I’ve stayed awake thinking to myself…’Self, how would I properly promote a DVD that features a 100 piece orchestra, a 100 piece choir, as well as EVERY MEMBER OF MANOWAR EVER FUCKYEAH?’

Just when the kids at MANOWAR couldn’t out do themselves, a quick hit to the store teaches me that there really is no bounds to the power of metal.

What garment could possibly best personify these walking gods of all things rock and roll?

What could the blessed lords of dark metal drape upon themselves as if it were some holy shroud?

And what could it be, all at the low, low price of 28 dollars?

Yeah.
