Quite the crazy week here, and a lot of info to get into today at Dead of Summer.

First things first, as announced yesterday officially by Katsucon, we are proud to announce we’re part of the webcomic guests for next weekend. We’ll have a table at the con, and will also be a part of a handful of panels, so if you see us, be sure to say hello!

Secondly, the big part of it all. If you’ve been keeping tabs on the local Baltimore music scene, you’dve noticed certain conflicts came up regarding our big One Year Celebration at the Ottobar.

After a very long week of going back and forth and making the best decisions possible, I’m very pleased to announce that the show will be moving forward….albet on Sunday Evening, April 8th. I know we promised the final two band announcements for this week, but we’re waiting on 100% confirmation on their schedules that they can appear on that date. Avec and Karmella’s Game (god bless ‘em) are still on for the show, and we look forward to seeing you all at The Ottobar on April 8th. Hopefully Monday we can announce the final two bands, as well as launch the subsite for the show, but as I’m sure you can understand, we’re waiting for everything to be taken care of before we make any formal announcements. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and we promise we will do our best to deliver to you, Dead of Summer reader on April 8th!
