Comic #2.2 “Hypothetical Setbacks”
God damn, it’s Friday already!
It’s been quite the crazy week since Katsucon began, and I’m very pleased to see so many of you have decided to stick around and join us at the sexy zombie party that is Dead of Summer. So much so, I’ve decided to fix some long running issues on the site, and update some older sections. I should have the ‘comments knocking the sidebar’ issue fixed this weekend, and I updated our links, so check those out. New cast page and more to come, including (hopefully) an INTEGRATED webstore…once we have all our new merch, of course.
Looking ahead to the weekend, what’s on tap? Well, it looks to be kinda quiet, a stark contrast to the craziness that was just one week ago. Going to try to catch either Reno 911!:Miami or The Number 23 (omg, it comes out on the 23rd!~), and finish up the extra work needed for Dead of Summer: Book One. Probably will also watch The Prestige again, which came out this week…if you haven’t given it a shot, I definitely recommend a viewing this weekend. Easily one of last years best movies, it somehow exceeds the given awesome when it’s Wolverine v. Batman (with MAGIC!), and ties up into a great freaking twist ending.
While I’m also pimping things that came out this week that you should check out, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the new Explosions in the Sky album, All of a Sudden, I Miss Everyone. Truly a great album from the already awesome boys from Texas, quite the perfect mix for the wintery feel in the air. We have the great pleasure of being able to catch them in DC next month, and if their performance on Conan O’Brien this week was any indication, it should be at treat.
Welp, I think I rambled enough for a newspost. Have a great weekend everyone, and see you Monday….AS THE STORY CONTINUES!

I second the motion about The Prestige.
Now, The Prestige is one of two movies
about magicians that were out at the same time
a few months back. I can’t say enough good
things about The Prestige. It melted my mind and face
completely. And you know, there is that whole
Batman vs. Wolverine thing. Not to give anything away
but it has David Bowie as Nicoli Tesla. It will be bought
for the personal home library soon enough.
-Cheers.
