Today’s comic title is based on a quote from Nick, who exclaimed a similar statement while drawing today’s page.

Happy Monday people! We’re back after a whirlwind weekend, one that will go down in legend. Friday night at the Ottobar was a blast as always, with the unmistakably unique Peelander Z rocking the house, in a show that had not one, but 3 separate ‘Velma Incidents’ in the audience, as well as the usual human bowling and other vaguely japan related mischef that’s brought about when Peelander’s in town.

Saturday was a ball as well, spending the day at Horrorfind. Of course, we were there to kick start Nick’s birthday celebration, but also found ourselves running into our old friends at Roller Derby Zombies, plus 2 of the artists for the April 7th show at the Ottobar, Kevin Herdemen of Monsterarm fame, and the enigmatic Athena. Great stuff on show by both of them, and we look forward greatly to featuring them as part of Marvelous Monsters in April.

Speaking of April, you can add another thing to your chock-full-o’-awesome social calendar, as on Sunday, April 22, there will be ANOTHER Zombie Walk in Baltimore. As you can see, the flyer features some classic Dead of Summer art, so you can gather, we’ll be there. If last time was any indication, should be a surreal day out.
More to come this week, as we should have some previews of Nick’s art to be shown on April 7th, plus some fun on Friday.
