Holy crap! We’re back from the weekend, and it’s April already!

You know what that means? Right now, as I write this, we are 5 days away from 2 very important things.

1. The One Year Anniversary of this here comic, Dead of Summer.

2. The greatest Saturday evening you could ever spend here, in Charm City.

Now, I know there’s some confusion about the events for Saturday, so allow me to explain and elaborate.

The events kick off at 6pm at the Ottobar (upstairs), as our awesome artist, Nick “Ghostfreehood” Borkowicz presents his latest art showcase, entitled Marvelous Monsters. Featuring the art of Ghostfreehood, Jeriminus, Matt Roth Photo, Kevin Herdeman (Monsterarm), and Athena, it will be a great showcase of some of Charm City’s best artists in the horror medium. It’s absolutely free (21+, only, however), and will be running until about 9pm-10pm or so.

Immediately afterward, just across B-more at the LoFi Social Club, 2 bands near and dear to us at Dead of Summer, The Protomen and Karmella’s Game will be rockin’ the house. Doors are at 9pm for that show, it’s all ages, and only $5 at the door to attend. This is not a Dead of Summer sanctioned event, but we give it our full seal of approval, and hell, WE’LL BE THERE. You can’t really say no.
