Comic #2.34 “Save Paris!”

Excuse the title for Today’s comic, we’re testing something as to how much pull we have on Google search results. We’ve found that our site comes up for the WEIRDEST things, so I figured I’d put it to test to see if new visitors appear simply due to a rather timely headline. Do your thing, Google spider-bots!

So, Happy Friday! We figured what better way to send you to the weekend than a one-sided ass kicking. Whoops. That’s why you don’t get another man’s lady pregnant. Word of note to our male readers, avoid that. Not good.

Nick should be popping in on the comments with his impressions of 28 Weeks Later. I’ll be checking it out myself tonight, and based on his level of excitement, I’m very much looking forward to it. Interesting, given as recently as a week ago, I was generally indifferent to it (despite LOVING the majority of 28 Days Later).

That’s all I can really talk about for now. Exciting announcements soon. What? Well…we always said we’d make it up to you. What do I mean? Oh that’d be saying too much!

See you Monday.

After feeling completely crushed from the movie going experience that was Spider-Man 3, 28 Weeks Later is a serious breath of fresh (infected) air. Well, that’s not totally true seeing how the virus can’t be carried on the wind. Anyway, if your planning on seeing it, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

In relation to 28 Days Later?
Personally, I thought it was much better. The success of the first film allowed the advances of this movie to take the direction the “Infection” story needed. With more special effects and a more full bodied storyline , it doesn’t seem like the short stories that made up the first film. With this one you get a better defenition of the virus and story wise, it’s complete. My brain likes to tell me the sequal is actually the beginning of this universe while the first film, 28 Days Later is actually a tale of spin off’s to follow up. For me, that works. Not only does it work, I actually prefer to think of it that way.

I highly recommend this film, it rules.
