Friday, May 25th

7pm: Web Comics 101: Getting Started (Nick & I Both Will Be On This Panel)
Discover the wonderful world of web comics. Our expert web comic artists and writers will spill the beans on how web comics are made, how to find web comics you’ll enjoy, and of course, how to get started publishing a web comic of your own!

10pm: The Balticon Graphic Novel Project: Comic Life Workshop (Nick & I Both Will Be On This Panel)
Help us create a unique chronicle of Balticon! All you need is a digital camera and a good idea. Your con photos-turned-comics can become part of the first ever Balticon graphic novel! We’ll show you how and lend a hand. (Computers available)

Saturday, May 26th

1pm: What’s New in Comics? (I will be on this panel)
Get the latest dirt about the industry. What’s happening? Where’s it happening? Looking for the inside skinny on the scene? Here’s the panel.

3pm: Writing For Web Comics, Round 1: Comedy vs Drama (I will be on this panel)
Learn about plot strategies and serializing prose for webcomics.

Sunday, May 27th

10am: Photoshop for Web Comics (Nick is listed for this panel…heh. heh. heh.)
Web comic artists share their knowledge, tips, and tricks for creating web comics in Photoshop.

1pm: Writing For Web Comics, Round 2: One Shot vs Storyline (I will be on this panel)
Our panelists come out swinging at the bell.

3pm: Art in Web Comics: Is the Pen Mighter Than the Cursor (Nick is on this panel)
Digital art versus pen and paper. Find out what the guys in the trenches think.

6pm: Dueling Easel Madlib Comics (Nick is on this panel)
Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon have nothing on these guys. The artists draw, the writers write, and the audience fills in the blanks. Join the fun and see what the end result is in this crazy frenetic creative treat.

Monday, May 28th

11am: The Business of Web Comics (Nick and I are on this panel)
People really do make money at this. But managing it as a business is critical if you don’t want to leave money on the table.

    See, sometimes, when a mommy and a daddy love each other very much, they have a round of ’special hugging’…

    The rest will be illustrated graphically over the next few months of Dead of Summer.
