MAJOR SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT: AUGUST 24, 2007 - THE OTTOBAR
June 3rd, 2007 by MartyWe intended to get the hype train rolling on our own, but the information has already surfaced, so I figure why wait…
As you may remember, last April, we promised an Anniversary Celebration to rival anything ever seen before in the Charm City area. 4 bands, 2 shows (an artshow upstairs, with live music downstairs), all to celebrate a year of Dead of Summer. Unfortunately, things fell through.
But we promised you one thing. We’d make it up to you.
This August? We deliver.
On Friday Evening, August 24th, with the assistance of Monozine, the Ghostfreehood Alliance and Dead of Summer present a show to topple ANY SHOW we’ve done before.
Upstairs: The latest art show presented by Ghostfreehood, as we transform the Ottobar into a Sentai world gone amuck, featuring pieces from Ghostfreehood and a series of webcomic creators TBA…
Downstairs: We go for broke.
Ladies and gentlemen, it’s my pleasure to announce, on August 24…we bring you…
KARMELLA’S GAME
THE PROTOMEN

PEELANDER Z

[…] August 24th is just around the corner. Looks like next week will be the time for details. I can tell you though that in addition to all the awesomeness that has been announced, there will be some games set up as well. Possibly some Mario Kart 64 tournaments with delicious prizes in store. Not to mention trash talking and bragging rights. Sometimes friends can be so cruel. Some of these games will be projected to large viewing size for enhancement so get ready to get your game on. Tickets for the music portion of the evening are on sale now. You don’t want to miss it! The art show portion of the evening will be free so no tickets there. I’ll be back next week with full details. Have an awesome weekend. […]
