According to Steve Niles’ myspace, he found this teaser poster on the internet. I think it’s safe to say this is legit. 30 Days of Night is one of the best books I’ve seen in a while. Debuting in 2002, Ben Templesmith’s art is inspirational, original and unique. If it were a food item packed with nutrients, I would have it for dinner every night. OK, well maybe on special occasions like holidays and birthdays. Yes, that’s it. Ben Templesmith’s art is like cake! Screw the nutrients and health properties. It’s dangerous, lethal, exciting and outrageously delicious. Set for an October release, the film adaptation will be out just in time for Halloween. A movie about Vampires taking advantage of Alaska’s month of darkness hopefully will run just as wild as it’s premise. I am excited for this film.
