Yes friends, word has reached my ears. Thundercats the movie. I saw the live arena shows in the 1980’s. The dvd’s have been purchased. Tapes for that vcr that never get used still have episodes on it from the airing. I have the comics and yes…I have the tattoo. The movie idea? It scares the living shit out of me. All I keep thinking about is the newest NinjaTurtles movie. Sure, it had the live action films first. Maybe, just maybe it will be close to being that cool. I kind of liked the new TMNT. However, it was so far from being what we all wanted it to be. The ruining moment. The damnation of the Thundercats film, and I’m calling it right now…Snarf. Snarf is the plot carrier. The bridge between glorified war torn surviving cat race and modern day laughs. All the cute jokes and laughable bullshit we could possibly be enduring for the sake of the barbaric beatings of mutants could be disasterous. Snarf will launch millions in merchandising as kids everywhere will make it their new icon. The comedy relief of this sidekick has to be stopped. Moderation people. Moderation. Annoying as JarJar. Gets in the way like Attack of the Clones C3P0. Please, someone see this through properly. Don’t ruin another one. I was hoping this would be one of those cartoons from my childhood that would be kept secret. It could be kept safe.
