It’s now wednesday. The time is 1:17 am. Since I can’t wait until tomorrow, or later today, I am unwrapping my Hellboy limited release figure now. I forget how loud the plastic packaging can be when you pull it. I don’t have the patience to untwist all the ties that wrap around each appendage. I’m suprised my roomates aren’t yelling at me. I do this with all my figures.

After I get HB free, he rests on a stand with the animated logo on it by a clear plastic pole. The pole, which is shoved up his rear, sets into place on the stand making him stable to display. It’s rad. The figure is a 7 inch and the best feature in a set of 5 for the dvd release. I’d get one quick too if you want one. It came out yesterday (june 12th) and seemed scarce. There were only 4 on display at Best Buy where this particular feature is available. For the others you’ll have to hit Wal Mart, Transworld, Infinity and Circuit City.

As far as the special features go, they are pretty cool. Nothing fancy but cool. You can read all about them here with a full review of the dvd that does it justice. The only negative piece in the review is the e-comic. Personally I dig em’. However I know most people don’t. Oh well. This set rocks. If your into collectibles and expansions on the Hellboy universe look no further. Between Darkness Calls, the BPRD series and the animated films, I’m set until Hellboy 2.
