Nick Fury…DO YOU SPEAK IT?!

None other then Mr. Samuel L. Jackson himself will be playing Nick Fury in the Iron Man movie. This movie really is starting to get way passed my expectations here. I’m going to have to rename it soon. Each time I hear something new, I end up having a nerdgasm all over the place. It needs something more fitting like: Iron Man: Get the Fuck Out of My Way or Die. You’d go see it am I right? It only makes sense that Samuel L. Jackson gave his consent for his likeness for Ultimate Fury. A movie role could have been part of the deal? Either way, Iron Man: GTFOOMWOD will be hopefully be a bar raised so high that it will become a standard of awesome in the comics to movie world. Continuity all the way through. Then again, there is a chance that it will be terrible. However, right now there’s not a cloud in the sky.

    It’s worth mentioning that this is the first Marvel film produced by Marvel Enterprises, and in turn, this cameo is their attempt at building an ongoing continuity.

    Interestingly enough, the other films on the slate by Marvel Enterprises?

    The Incredible Hulk…Captain America…Thor…and…what’s that? The AVENGERS?

    Could be a great decade for comic fans.

    Exactly.

    It’s a complete relaunch of the franchise, with ED FREAKING NORTON as Bruce Banner, Liv Tyler as Betty Banner, Tim Roth playing The Abomination…really just a solid cast.

    Summer 2008 is looking to be the summer of the comic nerd, with Iron Man, Hulk, and The Dark Knight hitting back to back (May, June, and July respectively)
