The Summer Convention Season Begins!
July 9th, 2007 by MartyHoly crap.
After months of waiting, here we are…the summer convention season is about to hit fever pitch, starting this weekend with Connecticon.
What do we have on the docket?
THIS WEEKEND: Connecticon - Hartford, CT.
This is our first appearance at Connecticon, and we cannot be more excited about it. We’ll be in the Artist’s Colony, and making panel appearances at the big webcomics panel (which I believe is Friday night, not 100%…just look for the panel where they throw all of us Webcomics Guests onto a stage to talk) and on Sunday morning at 9am (sweet god why?) for the Alternative Webcomics Panel with our buddy Ross Nover (of The Rockets). That panel should be worth checking out, if only to see the psychological state Ross, Nick, and myself are in at 9am on a Sunday.
NEXT WEEKEND!: Otakon - Baltimore, MD
We return to where it all began, Otakon 2007. We’ll be in the Alley (currently set as table Q12, but that may change, long story). No panels for us, but we’ll be shilling our wares and giving out high fives. Just pop over and say hey.
THE BIG MAMMA JAMMA: ULTIMATE ALL-STAR KAIJU BARRAGE - AUGUST 24th - THE OTTOBAR - BALTIMORE, MD

Do I really need to say anything more?
MERCH UPDATE: Well, we’ve tried to get things going, but it wasn’t all as we planned…here’s what we’re looking to have…
Connecticon: We’ll have pins and posters on hand, plus freebie flyers
Otakon: Pins and Posters on hand, we’re going to try to get a limited run of ZOMBelieve shirts and/or the new shirt made in time for the show.
Online: Look for pre-orders for the shirts to start by the end of the week.
August 24th Show: Shirts should be on hand, ditto pins and posters. We’re also working tirelessly to get the much questioned for Dead of Summer: Book One ready for release at this show. If not, it’ll be on the site, we promise.
Any questions, thoughts, suggestions, drop a line in the comments. See you at the cons!
Note: Normal updating should continue throughout Connecticon and Otakon.
