Gentlemen, Start Your Pixels?

August 16th, 2007 by Brian

Earlier this month, comic creator Warren Ellis recently announced that his creator driven comic forum, The Engine, will be closing at the end of August. This decision would see a void form where there was previously a much needed outlet for comics creators to talk about their craft and the varying effects that just about anything has on the industry. Luckily for everyone, that void has been quickly filled.

Enter Panel And Pixel. Launching earlier today via the courage and heroic aptitude of Rantz Hosely, P&P offers the same atmosphere and love of comics shared by The Engine, and a lot of the awesome people that made it as great as it was (and technically still is until August 31st.) Open to creators and fans alike, it mimics the same clique-less environment and intelligent conversation of comics of all sorts found in the house that Warren built. It’s a fun place to be, and you should join it and contribute, and allow awesomeness to ensue.
