As I sit here, just out of the blurryness of a few hours rest, I still am struggling to deal with the reality of last evening.

Last night, ULTIMATE KAIJU ALL-STAR BARRAGE hit the Ottobar…and apparently, we hit with a vengence.

People, wall to wall, both upstairs and down…5 bands, playing their heart out, one of the best audiences I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying a show with, and ultimately, a very pleased venue.

I cannot put into words how grateful I am this morning. Or afternoon, as it were.

To the artists…Ross Nover, Onezumi, Chris Impink, Jereminus and Jami Noguchi…thank you all so much for allowing us to feature your incredible abilities, and being just as crazy as us to make that show happen.  We’re awed by your excitement, touched by your enjoyment, and thankful to know you all.

To the bands….(in performance order, for those interested) AVEC, Karmella’s Game, The Dollyrots, The Protomen and Peelander Z…thank you for bringing together one of the best nights of music I’ve ever experienced.  All biases aside, each of you brought to the table what makes you great, and together, you made for an incredible evening.

To the attendees, thank you for your patronage, thank you for having a great time, and I hope you enjoyed the show as much as we enjoyed putting it on.

To our friends out of state, who made incredible journeys just to see what craziness we’re up to in Baltimore…we’re awed by your respect and humbled by your friendship. You’re all great people.

Finally, to Todd at the Ottobar, thanks for making 2 kids silly dream come true.

I guess it’s worth saying…we’ll see you all next time.  Oh yes, there will be a next time.
