#20 Alice Cooper- Welcome to my Nightmare

This performance is from Alice’s appearance on the Muppet Show in 1978. As a plot line on the show, Alice played one of the Devil’s henchman and tried to trick Kermit and Gonzo into selling their souls. Not only is this song a great way to kick off the countdown it’s also the title to the song’s album. Released in 1975, Welcome to my Nightmare is a concept album about the journey through a boy named Steven’s nightmares. I can think of another “journey” with a Steven as well but that a whole other nightmare and the wheel in the sky just won’t stop turning.
