If the title of this post doesn’t grab your attention, grow a pair and listen up. Not only grow a pair but ignite the torches, arm yourselves proper and prepare to ride to send out the word. Kiss your lady and loved ones good-bye because Thursday we meet doom, HEAD ON! We may never return.

 

See that light coming this way? It’s the distant glow in the horizon that is the hellfire melting the exoskeleton of our enemies. That hellfire carries the furies of a thousand burning suns and will expose the weak will and vulnerable state of those who oppose this conquest and WE SHALL LAY DOWN WAR unto their house.

This coming Thursday, Dying Fetus will be playing the Ottobar with one of my favorite bands SkeletonWitch. Also on the bill is Demericus and The Absence and More. This Grindcore/ Death/ Doom Metal show will leave you aching for more. That is, if you survive.

For those unfamiliar with Dying Fetus, these guys are brutal in sound. Their roar can be found in the clearing fog and rising smoke of war. John Gallagher (guitar, vocals) is currently the only original member but has endored the DF name ever since 1991. The American Death Metal and Grindcore presence of this band brings gurgling vocals, and reality-based pseudo-political lyrics. Which is a little different from the graphic themes of previous albums.
