Despite what you have heard recently about the success of Romero’s new film Diary of the Dead, George has no plans for the follow up as of yet. Recently, rumors have been circulating around Hollywood saying that work on the second film had already begun. The false news involved the survivors of the first film setting out to reach an island in hopes for survival. While that scenario is routine in zombie tales, I would hope for something new, personally. Everyone goes to an island. Leave that to Fulci. It’s been done. That’s what I say.
