Spoon, the indie rock band named after the 1970s German avant-garde band Can
(sorry Tick) will be running around Baltimore come April 11th. So, I guess that’s the 4-1-1? Ooh, ok. I know that was bad.
The band which formed in 1993 are on tour promoting their 2007 release Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga which reached #7 on Pitchfork Media’s top 50 Albums list for the year. For those unfamiliar with the band but liked the movie Stranger Than Fiction starring Will Ferrell, Spoon provided the soundtrack. Stranger Than Fiction was and has been one of my favorite films as of late. It’s also , sorry to say, the last thing I thought Will Ferrell was great in. If only he did more roles like that.

Um…actually, that’s the video for “I Turn My Camera On” from Gimme Fiction. Still a good song, but just thought I’d point that out. Love the comic!

Just sort of breaking topic here, but I just wanted to give you guys a heads up to say that my company got the Baltimore contract! We’re going to have a truck scanning Baltimore to keep you and your loved ones safe.
