I’m never always sure the reach of our site (I mean, the stats tell me one thing, but who really knows?), but I figure I’d throw out a plug where appropriate.
Our good friends/Kaiju All-Star Barrage Alums /Insubordination Records members Karmella’s Game are going on a major freaking tour, sending them from our lovely homebase of Charm City to the West Coast! They’ve got a metric ton of shows coming up, and I can say having seen them grow over the past 6 years (Jesus…), they are hands down one of the best bands going today.
All friendly ties aside, KG brings a style of keyboard based power-pop-rock that is unlike any band I’ve ever seen, and if you have the chance, you totally need to check them out.
Here’s their upcoming shows:
3/28 - Nashville, TN
3/29 - Starksville, TN
3/30 - Pensacola, FL
3/31 - Ft. Walton Beach, FL
4/1 - Mobile, AL
4/2 - Baton Rouge, LA
4/3 - La Porte, TX
4/4 - Austin, TX
4/5 - Dallas, TX
4/6 - El Paso, TX
4/8 - Tucson, AZ
4/9 - San Diego, CA
4/10 - Long Beach, CA
4/11 - West Hollywood, CA
4/12 - Payson, AZ
4/14 - Albuquerque, NM
4/15 - Altus, OK
4/16 - Dallas, TX
4/17 - Little Rock, AR
4/18 - Kansas City, MO
4/19 - Minneapolis, MN
4/20 - Madison, WI
4/21 - Chicago, IL
4/22 - Wonder Lake, IL
4/23 - Parma Heights, OH
4/24 - Pittsburgh, PA
4/25 - Baltimore, MD
Full details for each show (venues, times, etc.) can be found here .
Simply put, if you’re reading this, you’re in one of these towns, and you’ve never seen Karmella’s Game , you need to jump on before the blogosphere’s all over them. And tell them DEAD OF SUMMER sent ya!

KG’s official website (www.karmellasgame.com) has flash audio players of both their full-length and EP, in addition to a few downloadable MP3s.
