Hey gang, just wanted to drop some information on ya for what’s going on these next few weeks here at Dead of Summer…

This Weekend!

• Firstly, Balticon kicks off this weekend, and runs through Monday. Our appearances will be sporadic over the course of the con (more on that in a minute), but there are a metric ton of great comics that will be in attendance, plus a slue of informative and entertaining panels on the docket, so if you can make it, check it all out. You never know where we’ll show up.
• Secondly, two very good friends of ours, Adam (of Avec) and Katie (of Karmella’s Game) are making it legal and getting hitched on Saturday. In turn, on SUNDAY, they’re having a “rock and roll reception” at The Metro Gallery, open to all. Featuring both Karmella’s Game and Avec, along with Your Black Star and Second Saturday, it’s going to be a fun time for all.

• The Podcast Returns! With new hosting, a new title (to be unveiled next week), and hopefully, the same entertaining angle that you’ve been barely enjoying thus far.
• Next Sunday! June 1st! It’s ARTFIGHT at the Ottobar! Angry Zen Master battling Ghostfreehood! But here’s the downer note. The Artfight will now be in the Ottobar upstairs, which means it’s now unfortunately 21+ only. However, this means it’s now FREE! Join us for the fight….the fight for the right to ART!
