Sunday, Bloody Sundaaay! This Sunday, June 1st- ART FIGHT is a GO-GO!
If you can’t make it up to Baltimore Sunday night, we’ll be streaming live online . If you forget, the event will be recorded so you can surely catch it at your convenience also. We’re upstairs at the Ottobar . It’s a free show, but you must be 21 or older. Doors open at 8pm and we’ll get the drawing started around 9pm.
Over at Angry Zen Master , Jami is taking suggestions for topics for us to fight with. We need your help. So far there have been many very good suggestions. Don’t let that keep you from putting yours in the mix though. We want to hear from you. Jami is even giving away some Robot arts for your topics. This is an awesome opportunity for you to be involved with our art. An interactive experience for all indeed.
Downstairs is MC Chris , Age of Rockets and hometown heroes: Karmella’s Game . I would love to be finished in time to see the show, well realistically MC Chris. However, there is no telling how long this fight will last. I know there is a “Not on my watch!” joke in there somewhere but I’m leaving it open. If your coming out to the MC Chris show, the cost of the event is 13 bucks, 15 the day of the show.
If you haven’t taken the time to listen to the new MC Chris album, it’s really good. It’s tilted: MC Chris is Dead. It’s fantastic. I have to say it’s one of my top 3 favorites so far this year. The skits are hilarious and the songs are solid. From a Public Enemy parody to a ballad of Reeses Pieces, songs like Hoodie Ninja and Older Crowd are tops. MC Chris is Dead deserves a spin. Even if you’ve lost that lovin’ feeling. I’ve talked to a few people who have reconnected with this album.
…BLARF! Oh, zombie vomit everywhere!
See you at the show!
