We’re approximately one week away from the release of Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition and folks have already gotten their hands on copies that have been sold prior to the street date. Hearing some of the news pouring in from folks that have nabbed a copy puts my D&D excitement into overdrive. I already have, and am reading through, Keep on the Shadowfell. It has some quick-play rules that act as a suitable primer for 4th Edition, but my heart’s set on getting those core rulebooks.

Some time ago, Wizards released a couple of animated shorts regarding some of the changes happening in the 4th Edition of D&D. Among them is the following, and it’s inspired my first BBEG (Big Bad Evil Guy):

My first BBEG will have a minion of some sort named Francis. Who’s my minion? Who’s my minion? You are! I really fucking love how fun it is to be a dork.
