Hey Josh,
I'd be glad to draw in your book for ya.
Just click shop at the top of the page.
That will put you in the DoS store.

About doing a comic...
Getting started is the hardest part.
You should practice and explore lots of various avenues
before you arrive at your destination. Draw each charater a few different ways to
see what you like best. This will open up lots of ideas and give you perspective for what you might not have thought of before. Same goes for the story.

A great number of people in webcomics just jump right in and get started.
You might think no one is watching at times but, expect the unexpected.
You never know what might happen. Also, if this is what you love, don't give up.

There is always room for improvement. Always be open to learning. Try and be influenced by many great things. You'll be thankful for it in the long run.

If I order do I get the sig and sketch?
Because I live in Canada, so travelling isn't possible for me.

And about getting online, how would I do that?

Hey Josh,

Thanks for popping in for the kind words.

While I'm sure Nick will be able to respond more in depth about the changes in the art, part of it is due to me learning how to properly scan b&w art in on Photoshop.

As for the print copy, DEAD OF SUMMER: VOL 1 is currently available in our store (click the link "Shop" at the top), and it's the first 135 pages for $12. If you're heading to Otakon or Connecticon this summer, please feel free to come to our table and pick up a copy there. You not just save on shipping, but we'll sign it and Nick'll give you a sketch in the book!

Ok, so I looked at comic one and this one... and it's such a transition!
It looks like the first one is pencil to Sharpie in the most recent ones.

I have read them all and love the path it's taken.
I'm doing a comic of my own that I might want to post online... How do I go about that?
