Bill on Ghostbusters

According to Bill Murray, enough time has passed to let the wounds of Ghostbusters II heal. I’m not quite sure what that means but, OK. After providing the voice work for the GB video game, it all came back to him in a positive way. Recalling that the opening 40 minutes of the first Ghostbusters film have been some of the most memorable experiences in his career, Bill is no longer concerned about revisiting a franchise from the past and ruining it. As far as I’m concerned it’s his to ruin if he so chooses, and I will be there waiting to see it on the screen, EAGERLY.

The writers from the Office that are taking a stab at a script, I think will do a great job. From what I’ve seen of the television show it’s a very dry humor very much like Ghostbusters. I really don’t watch tv so the exposure I’ve had has been memorable.

Bill found himself walking down the street singing the Ghostbusters theme song worried people would tell him to get over himself. How fucking cool would it be to see that happen. Really? I would loose my head in a cataclysmic nerdgasm. Then again, there is that Bobby Brown song. D-D-DANCE!

I feel a little embarrassed that I put on the same outfit as Mr. Brown in that video today. I mean, that didn’t age at all. it’s like it was yesterday.
Now to put on We’re Back, because we’re back to fight the evil, we would never deceive you.
